What is a breakpoint resume addressable led strip?

Breakpoint Resume Series is an upgraded version of single signal addressable LED strip light, which is a 4-channel dual data line LED driver control circuit with a data line and a backup data line, a single pixel failure will not affect the signal transmission unless two consecutive adjacent pixels fail, after a single data line fails, the backup data line will automatically start and ensure that the signal is not interrupted, suitable for commercial lighting environment.

How do addressable LED strips work?

IC working mechanism is roughly the same as single signal addressable LED strip light, but breakpoint resume addressable LED strip light has a higher PWM refresh frequency, a more realistic display effect, and less stroboscopic phenomenon; after receiving the digital signal output by the Arduino LED controller, part of the data is stored in the IC's internal latch, the remaining data is amplified, then forwarded to the next IC through signal shaping, outputs 256 gray levels and 16 million dynamic color chasing effects. The chip can store the data systematization and automatic transmission, no signal attenuation even in long-distance cascading, suitable for commercial lighting environment.

    What is WS2813 LED strip?

    WS2813 is the upgraded version of WS2812B. Like WS2812B, the WS2813 is packaged in an SMD5050 RGB/RGBW LED and is driven by 5VDC. Single LEDs can be cut and each LED is individually addressable. We offer 30, 60, 96, and 144 LED densities for WS2813 LED strip lights.

    WS2813 VS WS2812B

    In terms of communication, WS2813 is upgraded to dual signal transmission, and the transmission continues at the signal breakpoint. When a single pixel LED is damaged, it does not affect the overall color display, unless two consecutive LEDs are damaged. More reliable use and less subsequent maintenance trouble.

    WS2813 has a better color display and higher transmission rate (2000Hz) than WS2812B, without flicker in the camera shooting.

    WS2813 has a reset time of 250μs (WS2812B - 280μs), allowing LEDs to work better at lower frequencies and in cheaper microcontrollers.

    WS2813 LED strip can work simultaneously with WS2812B LED strip (note the pins) and is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry PI development boards, and dream color addressable LED controllers to achieve beautiful colors.

    WS2818 is an upgraded version of WS2811, featuring redundant signaling that significantly enhances the stability of IC-controlled LED strip lighting systems. WS2818 LED strip uses 12V DC as its operating voltage, and its 8-pin IC is externalized to 5050 RGB LEDs, each WS2818 IC is capable of controlling three LEDs simultaneously. A data transfer rate of 800Kpbs and a refresh frequency of up to 2KHz/s enable WS2818 12 volt addressable RGB LED strip to respond smoothly and quickly to the controller's SPI signals for complex, dynamic pattern synchronized displays.

    TM1914 and TM1934 are 4 pin addressable led strip IC chips, with redundant data signals, compatible with 12 and 24 volt operation, capable of data rates up to 800kbps and PWM frequencies up to 666Hz. As a fixed IC chip outside the LED package, a single TM1914 or TM1934 simultaneously controls all LEDs in a single cut-out zone, with RGB/CCT/White color programming via an SPI-compatible controller

    What is GS8206 addressable LED strip light?

    GS8206 is a 3-channel constant current LED driver IC with breakpoint resume transmission and internal control patterns, including three constant-current output terminals, 256-level grayscale adjustment, and maximum support for DC24V input voltage. The chip has a built-in 12bits GAMMA correction module, the maximum PWM refresh frequency is up to 8kHz, and it provides an output channel current misalignment processing method that can reduce electromagnetic interference and power supply clutter.

    The chip adopts the return-to-zero code signal transmission method, which can control the output current channel by channel and infinitely cascade; dual-channel data transmission, single LED damage does not affect the normal lighting of other LEDs. The chip has built-in power-on protection and power-down protection functions to enhance the service life of the chip, and has the power-on automatic test function. D01/D02 terminal receives Raspberrypi/Arduino UNO development board or SPI LED controller signal data, and outputs 16 million dynamic color chasing effects.     What is GS8208 addressable LED strip light?

    The GS8208 is a 3-channel constant current LED driver with a breakpoint resume and internal display patterns which similar to WS2815. There are 3 open-drain constant current outputs, with a build-in PWM of grayscale. The range of input power is from +9V to +15V, and the voltage-endurance of the LED port is +12V, there is a built-in 12bits GAMMA correction module. PWM maximum refresh frequency is 8kHz.

    How do GS8208 digital addressable LEDs work?

    The GS8208 IC uses the return to zero code signal as the transmission mode, which can control the output current channel by channel and cascade infinitely, every cuttable part displays a different effect. GS8208 provides double-signal data input as redundant control, which ensures the transmission of the signal if any single chip damages. In the absence of signal input, GS8208 displays the built-in display patterns that are suitable for those applications without a controller. There is built-in power-on and power-off protection in the drive, which can enhance the service life of the chip. It also has the automatic test function while power on, which is convenient for the customer to test.
